Trend Following

An automated strategy for 15-minute BTC and ETH markets, built to act when direction is strong enough to confirm.

You set the allocation

Three faceted ice formations drawn in the IceBerg mark's language, each built from a grain of points. Trend Following is lit; the other two are held back. One waterline crosses the figure: above it the part you set, the share of your balance; below it the larger keel IceBerg runs. Under each formation the same hour is marked out: every tick is one analysis cycle, and the filled marks show how often that strategy acts within the hour. Each formation opens its strategy.015304560015304560015304560ActsEvaluatesminutes of one hourThree faceted ice formations, one above the other. Trend Following is lit; the other two are held back. IceBerg runs the strategy

  1. 1Trend FollowingEvery 15 minutes · more active
  2. 2Order FlowEvery 15 minutes · more selective
  3. 3Multi-TimeframeEvery hour · fewer, more deliberate entries
Trend Following is lit; the other two are shown for comparison and open with a click. Above the waterline is what you set: the share of your balance allocated to one strategy. Below it is what IceBerg runs: signals, entry, position management and exit. Ticks are analysis cycles across one hour and filled marks show how often the strategy acts within it — a rhythm, not a trade rate, and not a result.

How the strategy is structured

  1. Market and technical data
  2. Trend analysis
  3. Confirmation
  4. Order selection
  5. Position management
  6. Reduction or exit
Data feeds and order book conditions are evaluated by IceBerg's models. A position opens only when direction and strength conditions are met, and is managed by rule until an exit or risk condition triggers.

Inputs

  • external market and technical data feeds
  • Polymarket order book
  • trend strength and confirmation signals
  • on-chain data as a supporting layer
  • available liquidity
  • current strategy exposure

Proprietary models are developed and refined with AI-assisted data analysis. You select only the allocation; model parameters and trade logic are managed by IceBerg.

Cycle and execution

The strategy works on 15-minute UP and DOWN markets. After a position closes, the next 15-minute window is used for analysis before the strategy can enter again — roughly one entry every half hour at most. A cycle produces a trade only when the strategy's conditions are met, so many cycles pass without one.

The order book informs entry and exit conditions and helps the strategy select an appropriate execution price. When its conditions are met, the strategy submits a taker order against available liquidity. The order may fill fully, partially or not at all.

Position management and risk controls

The strategy can reduce or close its position as market conditions change. Position sizing, management and exit logic operate within your allocated balance, not against your full balance.

A position may be closed before market resolution when the price and model conditions are met. Otherwise it may remain open through resolution.

What you control

  • the share of your balance allocated to the strategy
  • whether the strategy is connected or stopped
  • reviewing the public rules before connecting

What IceBerg automates

  • market analysis
  • entry and order placement
  • position sizing within the allocated balance
  • position management and risk controls
  • position reduction and exit

Historical activity

Observed activity, 15-minute configuration. Typically 25–30 completed trades per day. One completed trade is one UP or DOWN position from entry to exit or market resolution; individual order placements are not counted separately. Measured over more than two months of live operation of this configuration.

Historical activity does not predict future activity. Cycles produce trades only when conditions are met, and execution prices can be affected by liquidity, spreads, price movement and any applicable platform fees.

Limitations and risk

Trend confirmation can lag sudden reversals, and an order may fill partially, at a different effective price, or not at all. Connected accounts receive the same trade decisions, but the price you receive can differ from another user's because of liquidity, price movement, position size and the moment of execution. Losses remain possible.
