How the strategy is structured
- Market data
- Buyer and seller pressure
- Imbalance filter
- Entry quality check

- Reduction or exit
Inputs
- buyer and seller pressure across supported markets
- proprietary mathematical models
- on-chain data as a supporting layer
- market liquidity
- cross-market exposure
- current strategy positions
Proprietary models are developed and refined with AI-assisted data analysis. You select only the allocation; model parameters and trade logic are managed by IceBerg.
Cycle and execution
The strategy evaluates conditions every 15 minutes and acts only when the imbalance and entry-quality conditions pass its filters. Most cycles pass without a trade — that is what makes it the more selective of the two short-cycle strategies. After a position resolves, the immediately adjacent 15-minute window is skipped, so the next possible entry is roughly 30 minutes after the previous one at the earliest.
When its entry conditions pass, the strategy submits a taker order against available liquidity. The order may fill fully, partially or not at all.
Position management and risk controls
If the imbalance normalises or reverses, the strategy can reduce or close its position according to its rules. It never opens a second strategy position while the current one remains active.
What you control
- the share of your balance allocated to the strategy
- whether the strategy is connected or stopped
- reviewing the public rules before connecting
What IceBerg automates
- buyer and seller pressure analysis
- entry filtering
- order placement
- position sizing within the allocated balance
- position management and risk controls
- position reduction and exit
What “selective” means here
Fewer cycles produce an entry than in Trend Following. This describes how the strategy filters, not how accurate it is. Stricter selection does not make a position more likely to resolve in your favour.
Limitations and risk
An observed imbalance can disappear before or during execution. Fewer entries do not mean lower risk. Losses remain possible.
